Restructuring the State -Legally and Politically

[Somedays ago, when I again started blogging, I am writing on some light issues. Today, I have tried to write on the state of affairs of my country and since it is a very complex subject, I have tried to view entire process from my aspiration which I hope, will be Similar to majority of Nepalese People.]

Nepal, a beautiful Himalayan Kingdom of South Asia, is in cynosure of the people around the world because of the insurgency by the Maoist forces for more than 10 years. This revolution has meant many things for many people and brought the Kingdom almost at the brink of disaster. The Kingdom’s grievance was even more aggravated by King Gynendra’s stupid dreams of becoming powerful King and true incarnation of God. Now, all his dreams have been shattered after the people’s uprising, popularly called JanaAndolan—II and has pushed the King out of the periphery of Mainstream Politics stripping all his powers. The subsequent development of uprising has relieved him from all his responsibilities and he has so much free time to play Online Gambling.

This has created some hopes on the Nepalese People and their aspiration for peaceful Nepal seems to be close to them. But, sometimes, it looks like a delusion in the sense that you see peace very close to you but still very far from you and you hardly know how many hurdles are there before you to reach that destination of peace. We do not know how far we have to walk with our shattered dreams to shake hands with the peace.

The Recent News tells us the state of affairs of our state and both the parties in the peace process are busy in playing some kind of blame game to each other. These types of mud singlings from the respective parties do not help to solidify the peace process.

There were two agreements signed by political parties and Maoists- the first one was in Delhi; 12 point Agreement and second were in Kathmandu; 8 point agreements. These both agreements were termed as historic and there should be sincere efforts not to make them mere history. Even after signing these agreements, still some points are unclear-about the decommissioning of arms, dissolution of present parliament and People’s governments, status of king in the Interim Constitution, involvement of Maoists in the Government and arms management, among others.

The Government looks very listless to implement the agreements truly and a kind of feudal slavery among the political parties is very persistent. The letter sent by government to the United Nations without consulting the Maoists and immediate reservation letter by CPN (Maoist) President Prachanda shows the chaotic state of affairs.

Similarly, unabated lootings, extortions by the Maoists despite the Maoists leaders’ promises, raises serious concerns about their sincerity in the Peace Process. There is a great lack of confidence in each other and if this persists, peace can not move ahead.

 

The work of constitution assembly election and forming a new constitution are even more challenging jobs. The Interim Constitution Committee is busy to frame interim Constitution but the lack of consultation among the people and different sectors may create problem in its implementation. The Empowerment of women, Dalits (Low Castes People), JanJati ( People of different Races, Kinship & Tribes), workers, farmers etc. must be guaranteed in New Constitution with necessary Mechanisms of Affirmative actions and reservations.

When we all aspire to see a peaceful Nepal, Then, everybody’s obligation is there to caution them who are holding the power on our behalf. We must guide their actions and provide way to them to use the state mechanisms for the long term and viable just order in the Society. The Parties in the Peace Process must understand that peace is not just the absence of war but Peace is a comprehensive human security in all the sectors and should be long term achievements.

What is there in Music?

Can there be anyone who does not like music? I doubt. I think there is no one in this world who does not like music. Music has that force, that gravity which drives everybody close to it.

What makes music so precious or valuable to human beings? It is a very difficult question to answer in this world. Simply, Music is a force which pulls us closer to it and we enjoy and we love to be close to it.

There are different types of Music, in right way it is called genres of Music. Some people love very soft guitar based, some love soft-rock, some love hard rock and complete metals. It depends on your age, our family or societal background and our inherent interests. If I have to talk about me, I love all kind of Musics depending on time and mood. I love Modern Music, Pop Music, folk Music, Hard metals and soft guitar based…….That is, every genres of Music and depending on time and Mood………

Music creates some sorts of feelings in you and you love it. Particularly, songs, we like because of their lyrics too. Lyrics try to depict and convey some sorts of meanings that resemble with our life. We pass from various phases of our life. Happiness, sorrow, nostalgia, loneliness are our part of life and everybody, irrespective of who you are, have to pass through it. Great thing about us is we do not stop anywhere, most of the time. We take and we have to take whatever comes on our way and there will be some typical and lovely sound that keeps on following us. That will be our great friend and we simply love it.

What a wonderful lyrics! You must have felt like this when u have to part with somebody, somebody who is your near and dear one. That is the power of Lyrics that can console you because you are not alone here in this world and Michael Jackson rightly says so,

“You are not alone
for I am here with you
though you’re far away…….”

There are so many people in this great planet who think in a way you do. That means u have so many friends around who are alone and had to travel leaving there dear families and friends. If you do not believe me, see another set of lyrics, Akon says:

“I am so lonely

I am Mr. Lonely

I have no body to call my own……”

Ohhhh……what a great pain to Akon and You might be sharing the same feelings that Akon shares. Basically, life is one which you have to live and U have to continue, may be alone in this world unless u discontinue it in unnatural way but Never Forget, the Music will be following u. Just it wants to be with u forever, in whatever condition You might be and you may be alone but still, far very far from you, believe me, somebody will be there for you.

A Rainy Day

Environment Around me

It’s cold here, not very cold but still I am wearing a Jacket here. There used to be hot climate here and very low rainfall. But, this year something has happened in the sense the temperature has really gone down after the continuous rain. It’s raining here almost everyday and every night…….Lovely rain, it has not affected my life. I am going to University everyday, no obstacle by rain. It is raining here but not continuously and in high time of business, it has not created any problem. This is a good aspect about rain, rains but without creating any problem. That’s why I love it, I like it………….

When it rains outside and inside my room, I will be using Internet reading News and listening to music, I can get very intense nostalgic feelings of the past. There used to be the days when we were children, we used to play in the rainy day in almost kiddish style. Go Outside and play splashing water to each other. Sometimes, I want to be child again but Time has changed now and so many things to do, we hardly get time to play on the rainy streets. Moreover, where is that company and friends who are ready to play!!!!

Today, I had to go to city with my friend Adarsh. We are conducting one Certificate course in our University in Security Exchange Market. We have one guest Lecture from Chennai, one expert in the field and we want to give certificates to each participant for attending that Course. Our job today, was to get our certificates printed and as volunteers, we made our journey to the City. Main City is very far from Our University and after more than an hour journey; we reached the place with a lot of difficulties. We did not know where to go and kept on searching best place from where we could get that work done. Finally, the job was done. Meanwhile, it rained……..we were soaked in the rain and again, I was reminded of those days when getting soaked in the rain was to be the matter of pleasure but look at today, we were worried because we may catch cold.

Finally, in my room again and my internet is working, I am feeling little pain on my legs because of rain but no blame to rain. It’s the nature’s rule. It rains. It stops. It brings a lot of nostalgic feelings every time when it rains. I have so many works to do as a part of my University Research but, I think, I am not doing any academic stuffs tonight. Just feeling like reviving past.

So Long as it simply rains and nothing happens, it’s ok. But, there is a song in Nepali “Gauma Katai Pahiro Gayo ki”…..That means if it rains heavily, there may be floods and landslides and a lot of lives and property will be damaged. I have started hearing a lot of News from Nepal that floods and landslides have caused a great havoc. That makes me feel worried………..I wish rain brings only the prosperity and nothing similar to destruction. I will sleep late in the night but without doing anything substantially, still a great satisfaction in life after observing a rain from a close distance.

My second post

In my earlier post, which was written just an hour ago, I had written little about my blog journey. There, I promised that I will tell you about a person who inspired me to write this blog, to initiate this blog. There is a general saying that says, “After a successful man, there is a woman”. Might not be true in each case, I am not so sure but there is a girl who inspired me to create a new blog. I do not want to give her whole credit of my success. Opening a new Blog page is a huge success for me. But, truly she contributes something little in this blog.

Who is she? I do not know. I do not know even her name and where is she. I can not locate her properly except her place Kathmandu, Nepal. I have not met her, have not talked, have not seen her but still she inspires me/she inspired me to start a new blog. Sounds really weird? Yes? Yes, in fact little weird but Nothing and it’s the truth.

She has a blog page in this Neti-world. Nothing exceptional, just simple diary, simple stuffs and simple things. Almost everything great craps there. There is no point of visiting her blog except u just want to read whatever comes on your way. Or let me put it in another way, You are not going to miss anything even if u do not read anything from that blog page and I am not losing anything not reading her entries. I hardly visit her page. Even when I do, I just read some stuffs and come back to my own work or start visiting some other pages. Nothing much inspiring there. But it is said that lotus grow in muddy water. May be because of that her blog inspires me even though she does not have anything in her blog. I have heard that she is a student of Developmental studies and I think, somewhere in her blog, she herself revealed it. But, that is nothing to do with my inspiration. The inspiring factor is there and that is her ability to write. Believe me, she can write a crap but continuously. That is, she has continuity but till date, I lacked that skill of life in my web-world. Everyday and every time, she can write something. One thing or another, she has topics. Remind u, she has crappy topics but at least she has. Let me repeat, she is not putting any intellectual stuffs in the net/in her blog in most of the time but her blogs are really good and u might be least benefitted when u read her or may be least affected if u do not read her, but, she has something to say. Great aspect of her is she has something to say on almost all the aspects of life. May be that, On street protests, may be on students’ roles, may be on political parties or may be on general girls’ stuffs, she is quite vocal, she has words and not only the words but eager to write.

One impressing girl………..And To make my blog a successful one, if it becomes, she has contributed to a certain extent. And thank you! You unknown Girl! See Today You have become the topic of My Blog……Let’s hope somebody will be there tomorrow for Me.

[Though this post was written more than 36 hours ago, There was no electricity power almost for 12 hours in my hostel while I was busy in editing and doing proff reading of this post. After power came back, there was no proper Internet connection in My hostel for almost 24 hours. Now, Net has become slightly faster and I am posting this Article-Rajib. The Internet is still slow here and my experience is that wordpress.com opens even slower than other sites. If this happens, it really sucks.]

Just a first post.

This is a first post in my blog. Blog is not a new entity for me and i am quite familiar with it. My blog journey is also not so new. I embarked in this field about a three years ago. somehow, I got a link of a blog of my senior fellow in my University and I was really fascinated by his blogage.=(blog+page). I immediately started one blog at that time and at that time, the domain was blogspot.com.

It did not get any continuity. after few days, I just forgot it. I was not quite interested to update materials because I was not much interested in this Blogorld=(blog+world), because I did not have Much time, almost all time, I spent in my College work, and far importantly, I did not have anything to write there.

But, my journey did not stop there. That is evident from this page that i have not still abandoned that charm of blogging though i still suffer from those infirmities that i had three years ago. When I gave up blogspot.com, I shifted to MsnSpace because one of my friend(brotherly friend), Prasant had updated his msn space with photos. Again, it inspired me. I started my blog cum writing in MsnSpace. In fact, I reserved the space in Msn and did nothing more than that. Even not one entry….

Again another stop after MsnSpace was Rediffmail’s Blog provider service. There I updated my blog about a week. After that, I thought that I am not getting Internet Service regularly, so, I notified the readers that I will be updating my page after a long time, pertinent to note that no one read me there except me. I even informed in a clear language, that Rediffblog really sucks and I will be back after a long time somewhere in blogspot domain.

Unfortunately, I disappeared from Blogorld even more than I had even expected. I did not create any more blog after that. But, I had to move and I got a next stop as Soulcast.com

I liked its features. So, immediately, I opened a blogpage there. But, again, pnly three articles are there within 10 days. It has been recently opened and I am not going to update soulcast any more in future.

And, Today, wordpress.com. I have created new blog here. I do not know whether I will be able to give it continuity. But, this time, I am really trying to be a man with continuity in blogage. Let’s see What happens….
